A 14k gold plated fairy charm with swarovski crystals was used. Clay flowers, butterfly, swarovski crystals and beads were used for the other side of the earring. It ends off with a swarovski teardrop in pink. =p

Ruth is found in the Old Testament in the Bible. She was highly favoured by God. =p

With bursts of red, Ruth consists of imported silk flower, a cameo, 3D butterflies, czech beads, swarovski crystals, swarovski beads and an emerald glass brio.

A bouquet of pink roses filled with ferrero rocher chocs!!! That was what greeted me in the morning! It's soooo special because the person put this bouquet together! Yes you heard me right! It wasn't bought from a flower shop. And it was doubly special because I was craving for Ferrero Rocher chocs this whole week but never got down to buying me self a box.

This is a mismatched pair of earrings. It consists of 14k gold plated butterfly that is attached to a 14k gold plated loop and clay flowers on one side and a pink swarovski bead was used for the other side. Both sides ends off with a pink swarovski teardrop crystal.

It was a pleasant surprise. It was always my wish to own a dog (since I've got 3 cats at home) and now it has come true!

Now, to name the dog. I was thinking Chelsea. Yeah, yeah I'm a chelsea fan. I can hear the manuers and scoursers jeering at me. Alright, how about Phileo? Phileo means "friend" in Greek. If you've got any other names in mind, how about emailing me or leaving me a tag?

Farewell to Pavarotti.... and a trip down Arab Street.

We bid farewell to Pavarotti today. Known as one of the Three Tenors, he was famed for the brilliance and beauty of his tone especially into the upper register.

R.I.P. Pavarotti. You'll be missed. =(




We took a trip down to Arab Street today. I felt nostalgic as I entered a shop full of antiques
porcelain plates and Peranakan beaded shoes (Yes I'm Peranakan & proud of my heritage! =p), more commonly known as "kasut manik" to the bibik and nonyas.

There's a class for learning how to sew the beaded shoes. I'm sooo tempted to sign up for the class.

Anyway, I found the bedak (powder) that my mama (granny) used to use for her face. Nowadays it's used to clean silver. On top of that, I discovered there was a Sasha Bear & Co. shop located in the middle of Arab Street. We took Arthur & Rody (seen in the pict above) home. =)

It was a day well spent. I'm well loved. =p and I'm a happy girl.! =)
